I don't think many of you might drop by this blog nowadays, assuming I'm able to safely judge the viewership volume based on the tagboard responses. Yet, seeing this blog's creation firms up my belief that AWC is a small and bonded family. This even after I've left it for quite a while.
For those of you who still know me, yes, I'm here: alive and breathing in the Singapore Armed Forces. So people who owe me meals after betting if I can survive in army; you better own up now and treat me to good food! Alas, to those juniors who are reading this post and wondering who this writer is, I'm your AWC alumnus who's dropping by after these months to say hello! :)
Actually, I'm writing these post with the intention to congratulate all you shooters who have done our school proud, be it if you've won a medal or not. Everyone is a winner in his/her ways. I know that Nationals are way over and that celebrations are probably done with by now, but it never fails to make me proud whenever you guys train hard for your respective competitions and show our fellow shooters from other institutions how capable we are. I do recall fondly my last year as a representative shooter of DHSAWC and typing that farewell speech. As I was reading it moments ago, I doubt some things ever change. For those of you who might be interested in my farewell message to you (or probably have never read it yet), here's the link:

Not many of us have the endurance to spend long hours training every week with our rifle/pistol. Not many of us will have the patience to perfect our air weapon skills. I believe that after coming so far, we all have, in each of us a certain degree of passion for air weapons and the joys that come with shooting. After all these years, I've never regretted joining AWC and being the first Senior High Pistol shooter to set out a path for people to tread on. If any of you have regrets at some point in your air weapons career, never let it wear you down! Instead, I do hope that they will be translated into energy to spur you on in shooting to greater heights in future.
Most importantly, not everyone out there has the privilege like us to be part of the DHSAWC Family. Do treasure every moment of it :)
